Ralph Germain

April 12, 1948 — March 7, 2025

Theresa

Ralph E. Germain passed peacefully at home to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 76 on Friday, March 7, 2025.

He was born on April 12, 1948 in Green Bay, the son of the late Rodney and Grace (nee Harmann) Germain. Ralph graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1966, and subsequently went on to work a variety of jobs in his constantly changing life: he spent seven years working with Charmin Paper Company, seven years as a self-employed home painter, 19 years with the Lomira School District in maintenance, 13 years as a volunteer at the Fond du Lac Center of Spirituality & Healing, 16 years at St. Agnes Hospital, and many years as the Lomira Area Food Pantry Chairman.

Ralph was an altruistic person with a great dedication to his community, family, and spirituality. In 2008, he received Lomira’s Citizen of the Year award. He was proud of his years serving as Chairman for the Lomira Area Food Pantry – but was prouder of his marriage to his loving wife, Sharon.

Together, Ralph and Sharon had two sons who are left behind to cherish their father’s memory: Jason (Elizabeth “Beth”) Germain and Aaron Germain. He had one granddaughter who was the light of his life, Genevieve Grace. His wife, Sharon, will remember all the special times and memories they shared during their 44 years of wedded bliss.

Further surviving Ralph are his sisters, Alyce Dahlin, Lila (Dennis) Barliment, and sister-in-law, Cathy Germain; and special friend, Jo Ann Gouin.

Preceding Ralph in death are his parents, parents-in-law, and brother, Dale Germain, and a brother-in-law, Bernie Dahlin.
