Rebecca Jean "Becky" Cook, nee Fochs, 50, of Theresa, found peace on Monday, November 26, 2012 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on November 3, 1962 in Milwaukee to the late Leonard and Evelyn (nee Chiemehuskie) Fochs. She was united in marriage to Robert Cook on March 27, 1982 in Milwaukee.

Becky was a very caring and hard working person. She loved her job working with children as a Pediatric Medical Assistant at the Aurora Clinic in Menomonee Falls and she especially enjoyed her co-workers at the clinic. She was proud that she went back to school at the age of 40 to become a medical assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two children, Andrew (Jodi) Cook and Kayla (Jesse) Kanas; three grandchildren, Levi Cook, Mackensi Pizinski, and Vayda Kanas; four sisters, Diane (Mark) Widowski, Nancy Fochs, Cindy (Tim) Bannister, and Judy (Ozzie) Hidri; three sisters-in-law, Wendy Dempsey, Cindy (Jim) Mohns, and Cheryl (Larry) Poad; a brother-in-law, Al (Christine) Cook; 15 nieces and nephews, Mark (Tammy) Widowski, Joseph Widowski, Theresa (Jeremy) Bannister-Gutsch, Natalie (Tony) Kurilla, Danielle Bannister, Lindy Hidri, Luke Hidri, Laura Hidri, Dafina Hidri, Michelle Dick, Angie Thornton, Matt (Muriel) Mohns, Kristin (Ryan) Liddell, Jake Poad, and Danielle Poad; her father-in-law, Don Cook; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Cook; her parents and her mother-in-law, Laverne Cook.

A funeral service in remembrance of Becky will be held on Friday, November 30 at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, with Rev. Jerry Repenshek officiating. Cremation will follow with burial of the cremated remains in Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
