Renea A. Rewolinski

December 30, 1966 — October 25, 2015

Renea Ann Rewolinski, age 48, of Milwaukee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Renea was born on December 30, 1966 in Milwaukee to Joseph Rewolinski and Doreen Schildt (Nee Kuklinski).  She graduated from Vincent High School where she focused her studies on Agra-Business.  Following high school, Renea’s love of children lead her to become a nanny.  She eventually changed careers and began working for the City of Milwaukee to pursue another passion of hers which was big trucks.  Over the years Renea enjoyed driving a variety of trucks for the city including tow truck, street sweeper, garbage truck, and snow plow.

Renea loved playing ice hockey, crafting, knitting, art, music, gardening, and floral arranging.  She loved animals and children and even spent a lot of her time volunteering with various children organizations.  She was an active member of Community Church in West Bend where she enjoyed helping in the kitchen whenever she could.  Renea was a light in darkness and will be remembered by many for her testimony of faith that she shared at church just days before she passed away.

Those that Renea leaves behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Doreen (Dave) Schildt; her brother, Dean Rewolinski; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Kuklinski; her caregiver and best friend, Liz; and many other relatives and close friends.

Renea was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rewolinski.

A memorial service in remembrance of Renea will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Community Church (2005 S. Main St. West Bend, WI 53095).  The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the doctors and staff of the MRICU and Oncology departments of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee for the compassionate care that was given to Renea and her family.
