Renee M Batzler (nee Adelmeyer), 64, of Lomira was called home to be with the Lord and her family and friends that passed before her on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
She was born on November 5, 1958, the second youngest of fourteen children, of the late Armond “Jack” and Monica (nee Weber) Adelmeyer in Fond du lac, WI. She grew up in Knowles, WI. On November 7, 1975, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Michael Batzler Sr. Renee worked many jobs over the years. She worked at Lomira High School in the kitchen and later was a CNA at Hope Nursing Home. Renee worked at Beatrice Cheese in Mayville as a packager and then worked for Metalcraft in Mayville. She finished her career as a teacher’s aide at St. John’s Lutheran Church in pre-k. Renee enjoyed crocheting, camping, and traveling. She loved her flower gardens and all her animals. Renee especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Renee leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Michael Batzler Sr.; two children, Michael (Jodi) Batzler Jr. and Jessica (Craig) Schwartz; six grandchildren, Allison Batzler, Nathan Batzler, Griffin Batzler, Kurtis Schwartz, Donovan Schwartz, and Gannan Schwartz; four brothers, Stanley Adelmeyer, Ronald (Inge) Adelmeyer, Mark (Darlene) Adelmeyer, and Keith “Beattle” (special friend Teri) Adelmeyer; five sisters, Kathy Roth, Bonnie (Roger) Karlin, Jane (Ralph) Langenecker, Ruth (Thomas) Mischo, and Pam (Dale) Schwartz; her father-in-law, Manuel (Dorothy) Batzler; two sisters-in-law, Sandra (David) Hankwitz and Victoria (Brad) Anhalt; brother-in-law, Llyod Hanke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three sisters, Donna Hanke, Joyce (Robert) Staerzl, and infant sister, Gwen Adelmeyer; infant brother, Richard Adelmeyer; mother-in-law, Donna Batzler; brother-in-law, John Roth Jr.; and her niece, Erika Mischo.
A Memorial Service in remembrance of Renee will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 550 Water St., Lomira.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Froedtert Center for Advanced Care and Kathy Hospice for all their help and care.
