He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. Reuben was a participant in the Honor Flight in September 2009. He will fondly be remembered as someone who enjoyed reading, deer hunting and going to family functions.
Those Reuben leaves behind to cherish his memory include two sons, Ronald Danielson (Mary Koehler) of Milwaukee and Timothy (Kathryn) Danielson of Fredonia; four grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Danielson, Kristin (David) Overbeck, Amanda Danielson and Dayna Danielson; one great granddaughter, Jada Danielson, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Reuben was preceded in death by his 10 siblings, and his wife Kathaleen.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove with Rev. Eric Kirkegaard officiating.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum has been entrusted with Reuben’s arrangements.
Memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight would be appreciated.
