Richard "Kapper" Kapfenstein

Richard “Kapper” Kapfenstein, age 69 years, of Kewaskum was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2021.

Richard was born on November 13, 1951 in Prescott to Lester and Doris (nee Larson) Kapfenstein.  He was united in marriage to Kathy Ann (nee Boone) on June 25, 2005 in Kewaskum.

Richard graduated from Prescott High School.  He worked a chef throughout his career.  Richard loved his dogs, gardening, and Christmas.

Those Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy; two children, Andy and Kristina; three siblings, Tom (Margie), Carol (Bryan), and Julie (the late Bob).  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Doris.

Memorial Service for Richard will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave  – Kewaskum, WI  53040) with Pastor Timothy Henning officiating.

Richard’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:30 pm until the time of service.
