Richard "Rick" Quinlan

January 24, 1950 — September 13, 2015

Richard “Rick” J. Quinlan, 65, of West Bend, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2015.

He was born on January 24, 1950 to the late Joseph and Norma (nee Gustin) Quinlan in Fond du Lac, WI. He graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and later attending the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. On August 21, 1971 he was united in marriage to Carol Gervais at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Rick was a meat cutter his whole life, working first at A&P, then at Jewel, and finishing his career at Roundy’s as a manager and merchandiser. He was very passionate in his work. He enjoyed retirement and loved going up north to their trailer in the Town of Barnes. He loved to go bass fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Rick will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Carol; two sons, Jason (significate other, Amberstar Choma) Quinlan of West Bend and Trevor (Courtney) Quinlan of Dallas, TX.; three granddaughters, McKenna Quinlan, Paige Quinlan, and Finleigh Quinlan; sister, Norine (Doug) Quinlan – Janzen of Germantown; Nephew, Justin (Sarah) Janzen; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Quinlan of Fond du Lac.

A Funeral service in remembrance of Rick will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

Rick’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
