Robert A. "Bob" Dieringer

April 3, 1936 — July 2, 2013

Robert A. Dieringer, age 77, of Tigerton, formerly of the West Bend area, passed away Tuesday peacefully at his residence on July 2, 2013.

He was born on April 3, 1936, in the Town of Ashford in Fond du Lac County to the late Sylvester "Pete" and Olga (nee Zielke) Dieringer. At a young age, Bob and his family moved to the Town of Barton where they began farming.

On September 22, 1956, Bob was united in marriage to Marion Martin at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Wayne. Together they lived in St. Anthony until moving to the Tigerton area in 1992.

Bob was employed at F.W. Busch metal fabricating in Cedarburg, and Custom Tank in Saukville until retiring in 2001. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; a brother, Donald Dieringer of Hartford; two sisters-in-law, Ethel Martin of Kewaskum, and Marilyn Martin of Kewaskum; two brothers-in-law, Winston (Geri) Martin of Kewaskum, and Norman Martin of Kewaskum; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Frey; sister-in-law and her husband, Lois & Elroy Kutz; along with two brothers-in-law, Lyle Martin, and Leroy Martin.

Funeral services in remembrance of Bob will be held on Tuesday July 9th at 5:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Pastor David Nothem of First Baptist Church, Campbellsport will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:30 pm until the time of service. Cremation will follow at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service and burial of Bob's cremated remains will be at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
