Robert Koput, 79, of the township of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2013, at his home.
He was born on April 18, 1934, in Wauwatosa, the son of the late Frank and Stella (Ferfecki) Koput.
Robert enjoyed organic farming. He was an avid fisherman and had fun watching wrestling on TV as well as going to events in Milwaukee. Robert was a talented accordion and concertina musician where he played in his own band called Bob and The Melody All Stars. Robert owned his own interior and exterior painting and roofing company. He was an accomplished painter and had the skill to mix his own colors and stains right at the work site.
Those behind to cherish his memory include five children, Annette Ostoich of Fullerton, California, Roberta (Rob) Hurless of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Archie Koput of the township of Farmington, Jon (Andrea) Koput of St. Germain and Deanna (Nick) Myres of Milwaukee; a brother, Richard (Carol) Koput of Muskego; a sister, Rosalie (Roy) Dettman of Pulaski; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Koput.
Memorial services for Robert were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating. Cremation was selected.
The Koput family greeted relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
