Robert O. Kumrow, age 87, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.
He was born on July 21, 1924 in West Bend to the late Arnold and Ella (nee Gerhardt) Kumrow. Bob graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1942. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. On May 29, 1948, he was united in marriage to Bernice Feiten at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Bernice preceded him in death on April 15, 2008.
Bob worked as an Adjustment Manager for the West Bend Company and was a member of their 25 year club, retiring in 1986. Bob was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and West Bend Moose Lodge #1398.
He is survived by his two children, Ken (Beth) Kumrow of Menomonee Falls and Steve (Penny) Kumrow of Wagoner, OK; six grandchildren, Scott Kumrow, Tammy Kumrow, Stephanie (Mark) Milosevich, Craig Kumrow, Darrick Hyland and Jared Hyland; sister, Doris Fisher of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernice; brother, Arnold Kumrow and brother-in-law, Bernard Fisher.
A memorial service in remembrance of Bob will be held on Wednesday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
