Robert Steven “Bob” Plumeau, age 66 years, of Farmington, Wisconsin found peace on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home.
Bob was born on November 12, 1957, in Newark, New Jersey to Robert and Susan Plumeau (Amato). He was united in marriage to Deborah “Deb” Bay on May 1, 2007.
Bob graduated from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in biology from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Bob was a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity. He achieved his Master’s Degree in finance at University Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
His accounting profession took him to Blue Cross, and then 20 years at Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan, as the Director of Finance.
Bob was a true patriot; he had a great respect for our country, and all who have served - past, present, and future.
Bob’s life was full of adventure with many travels to the East Coast, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone National Park, Black Hills in South Dakota, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and many more. The Harley rides and trips were full of exciting memories and lasting friendships were formed.
Life on the lake brought smiles to his face. Pontoon rides, feeding the birds, playing Cribbage, and enjoying friends. He had a great passion and love for the Green Bay Packers and his weekly fantasy league football scores.
Music was always a highlight to him and others. The louder the better! (“So they can hear it across the lake.”)
Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Susan Plumeau of New Jersey; wife, Deb Bay; four children, Alan (Rachel) Plumeau of Colorado, Emily (Patrick) Plumeau-Dichard of New Hampshire, Laura (Dan) Boche of Minnesota, and Maggie (Cory) Reed of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Ada and Beau Boche of Minnesota; and three sisters, Karen (Joseph) Kinsey of New Jersey, Patricia (Michael) Plumeau-Leonard of New Jersey, and Kelley (Brian) Dougherty of Pennsylvania. He is further survived by aunt, Barbara (Robert) Ramsthaler of New Jersey; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Plumeau; and numerous aunts and uncles.
