Robert H. “Bob” “Stein” Stenschke, 70, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.
He was born on April 16, 1939, in West Bend, the son of the late Otto and Lucille (Heberer) Stenschke, and on October 6, 1962, he was united in marriage to Sharon “Sherry” Dreher at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Bob was employed by Seven Up Bottling Company in West Bend, retiring in 2005 after 40 years of service, and he was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend.
Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Sherry; two sons, Jon (Linda) Stenschke of Eagle River and Jed Stenschke of West Bend; two granddaughters, Zuri Heinemeier and Isabella Stenschke; his sister, Barbara (Bob) Belland of Waukesha, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Stenschke and Lucille Stenschke Muckerheide.
Funeral services for Bob were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sixth Avenue in West Bend and burial followed in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Saturday from noon until the time of services.
