Robert “Bob” H. Bellin, 94, of West Bend, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton.
He was born on September 15, 1922, the son of the late Robert and Regina (nee Dobberfuhl) Bellin. Bob was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Betty” Siegesmund on August 17, 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa.
Bob was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt, WI. He attended high school and one year of college at Concordia, River Forest, IL. Bob spent 24 years on the church council at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Jackson and sang in the choir for many years. Bob and Betty enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Eur ope. In his retirement years Bob cherished his time fishing and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those Bob leaves behind include three children, Margaret (Dale) Pizzala of Greendale, Mary Siemek of Appleton and James (Beth) Bellin of West Bend; six grandchildren, Joel (Laurie) Siemek, Joanne Siemek, Renee (Nathan) Schmidt, Katie (Samuel) Sheeks, David (Charity) Bellin and William Pizzala; four great-grandchildren, Ella Schmidt, Alyssa and Derek Siemek and Caden Bellin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service for Bob will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1268 Pleasant Valley Rd, in West Bend. Rev. Ken Mellon will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemetery
The Bellin family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School or Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated.
