Roger J. Jacak

Roger J. Jacak, age 76, of rural Campbellsport, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.


He was born on February 24, 1930 in the town of Ashford, the son of the late Henry and Ella (Gitter) Jacak, and on April 28, 1951, he was united in marriage to Carol Jean Theusch at St. Bridget Catholic Church in the town of Wayne. The couple made their home and farmed in the town of Ashford.


Roger was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian, where he was a former trustee. He was very fond of his John Deere tractors and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger will be missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.


Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Carol Jean; three children, David (Barbara) Jacak, Mary Abraham and Roger Jacak, Jr. all of Campbellsport; six grandchildren, David T. (Stephanie) Jacak, Jarod Jacak, Michael Jacak (special friend, Crystal), Kathy (William) Templeton, Heather Jacak (fiancé, Jason Wenzel) and Danyl Abraham; four great-grandchildren, Alexis and Addison Jacak, Taylor and Madison Templeton; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Jacak of West Bend and Irene Jacak of Campbellsport; brothers and sisters on Carol’s side, Richard (Carol Ann) Theusch and Francis (Caroline) Theusch both of the town of Wayne, Donald (Diane) Theusch of Lomira, James Theusch of Texas, Lorraine (Ervin) Beine of Hartford, Rosemary (Robert) Guth of West Bend, Elaine (Dennis) Wieberdink of Las Vegas, Nevada, Darlene Walls and Marilyn Theusch both of Kewaskum, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by three brothers, Roland, Sylvester and Lambert Jacak.


A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at St. Kilian Catholic Church, N189 County Road W, Campbellsport (St. Kilian). Father Neil Zinthefer officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Campbellsport.


Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
