Roger Gilbert Youngbeck, 80, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025, with his family by his side.

Roger was born on January 12, 1945 in Fond du Lac to the late Milton and Marion (nee Oechsner) Youngbeck. Roger proudly served his county in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968. He then entered a loving matrimony to Marlene Scheberl on July 17, 1971, in Brownsville.

One of Roger’s favorite ways to spend his free time was doing anything sportsman; whether he was casting a line to catch the big one, waiting patiently for the nicest buck to come by, or trying to trap a fox, he was in his element. Once inside, he enjoyed kicking back to watch baseball. He and Marlene also had fond memories from their travels out west.  Roger also worked at the Gehl Company in West Bend for 40 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Marlene; three brothers, Marvin (Mary Beth) Youngbeck, Ronald (Jenny) Youngbeck, and Mark Youngbeck; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Bill) Vielbig and Karen (Richard) Ellis; brother-in-law, Michael J. (Karen) Scheberl; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Rogers is preceded in death his parents-in-law, Michael A. (Dorothy) Scheberl; brother-in-law, Ronald (Patsy) Scheberl; and sister-in-law, LaVonne Makus.
