Rollin G. Kindschuh, 89, formerly of Lomira and Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay.
He was born on April 22, 1925, the son of the late John E. and Dora (Haberkorn) Kindschuh. Rollin was a graduate of Byron School and was employed by A.O. Smith Corporation in Milwaukee, retiring in 1985 following 33 years of service.
Rollin proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II and was an honored participant in the Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
Those Rollin leaves behind to cherish his memory include his nieces and nephew, Pat (Jerry) Eilbes, Don Kindschuh, Diane Gavin and Beverly Kindschuh; his great-nieces and nephews, Tracy (David) Randow, Mark Eilbes, Steve Kindschuh, Dawn Monzel, Greg Gavin and David Gavin; a great-great-niece, Claire Monzel; a great-great-nephew, Brennan Monzel, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Rollin was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Kindschuh; two brothers, Earl (Genevieve) Kindschuh and Ervin (Marie) Kindschuh; two nieces, Shirley (Larry) Mueller and Carol Kindschuh and a nephew-in-law, Rod Gavin.
Funeral services for Rollin were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira. Rev. Matthew Kuske officiated and burial, with military honors, followed in St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery in Lomira.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of services.
