Romilda D. Heider, nee Marquardt, age 88, of West Bend, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on December 5, 1924 at home in the Town of Auburn to the late Herman and Adelia Marquardt. On September 27, 1947, Romilda was united in marriage to LeRoy Heider, Sr. at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Together they started a family and Romilda enjoyed many happy years raising their children, traveling and spending time at their cabin up north. Romilda's grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, LeRoy of West Bend; four children, Beverly (Marvin) Berndt, Jr. of West Bend, LeRoy (Char) Heider of West Bend, Robert (Lisa) Heider of West Bend, and Daniel (Maureen) Heider of Lodi; six grandchildren, Jason and Kelly Berndt, Elizabeth, Amber, Hannah, and Amelia Heider; a sister, Verna Hausner of Kewaskum; a brother, Gerald Marquardt of Campbellsport; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Romilda was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Amy Berndt; and two brothers, Sylvester and Jerome Marquardt.
Funeral services in remembrance of Romilda will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 6:30 pm at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive, Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Lutheran Memorial Park, Kewaskum.
