Our loving dad, Ronald A. Grogan, 73, of Kewaskum, formerly of Milwaukee, found eternal peace on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
He was born on July 25, 1935, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Wollert) Grogan, and on August 29, 1959, he was united in marriage to Beverly Bradshaw in Milwaukee. His wife preceded him in death on July 31, 2004.
Ronald served his country in the U. S. Army from 1954-57 and was employed by the U. S. Postal Service as a carrier for over 30 years. After retirement, Ronald was employed by Pick‘n Save North in West Bend. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend and a former member of Walther Memorial Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Survivors include his three children, Michael (Terri) Grogan of Delafield, Kelly (Scott) Briskie of the town of Farmington, and Colleen (Larry) Wallace of Oak Creek; six grandchildren, Livia and Donovan Grogan, Ryan and Craig Briskie, Larry, Jr. and Hanna Wallace; a brother, Denis (Agnes) Grogan of Grafton; two brothers-in-law, Gordan (Gwen) Bradshaw of Burlington and Dale (Sharon) Bradshaw of Waukesha; a sister-in-law, Mildred (Leonard) Loffredo of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ronald were held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sixth Avenue in West Bend. Rev. Guy Roberts officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called on Thursday at the church from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.
