Ronald J. Tratnik, 61, of West Bend, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1946 in Milwaukee to the late Albert and Marie (nee Mesarich) Tratnik. He owned and operated Tratnik Tax Service in Milwaukee where he worked as a tax accountant and senior financial advisor for many years. He was a very active member of the Milwaukee Lake Lions Club and he loved traveling, playing cards and socializing.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hudson Tratnik; a sister, M. Donalyn Walsh of Milwaukee; a brother-in-law William (Kathleen) Hudson of West Bend; two nieces, Marie Tratnik and Elizabeth (Ben) Connor; four nephews, Douglas (Jac Lynn) Walsh, David (Margery) Walsh, Michael (Joy) Hudson, and Rev. Daniel (Anneke) Hudson; his faithful companion and friend, Misty; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Albert Tratnik.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Rev. Daniel Hudson will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
