Ron "Papa" Norgel

Ronald “Ron” “Papa” Norgel, 68, of West Bend passed Wednesday, December 9, 2020 peacefully at his home.

He was born on April 18, 1952 to the late John and Loretta (nee Flarity) Norgel in Milwaukee, WI. Ron graduated from Custar High School and went on to take Technical courses at Moraine Park. He was a member of I.A.M. Local Lodge 2050. Ron enjoyed driving his tractor, identifying trees, and cutting wood. He loved hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Ron will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Norgel; three children, Wendy (Mike) Schuster, Jay (Tina) Norgel, and Jeremy (Kristin) Burczyk; seven grandchildren, Brandon “Bran” Schuster, Nick “Nickster” Schuster, Jenna “Papa’s little girl” Norgel, Jarett “Papa’s Moebear” Norgel, Camryn “Papa’s little Cam Cam” Norgel, Kaelyn “My Sweet Girl” Burczyk, and Deklyn “My Professor/Dinosaur Boy” Burczyk; a sister, Cookie (Kenny) Krause; favorite sister-in-law, Mary Weinfurter; special niece, Tiffany “Tiff” Kapalczyniski; special friend, Ed “Hillbilly” Burgett; many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Alice Lemke and two brothers, John Norgel and Doug Norgel.

A funeral service in remembrance of Ron will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.
