Rose "Rosie" Schairer, age 53, of West Bend, found eternal peace on Wednesday, December 26, 2007.
She was born on November 19, 1954 in Hartford to the late John and Iremina (nee Linden) Schairer Sr. Rose graduated from Slinger High School in 1972 and began working for the West Bend Company. She was currently employed by Simplicity.
Rose was full of life and loved visiting her relatives and friends. She loved traveling, and especially enjoyed short trips to the casino and camping. She had a passion for wolves and enjoyed collecting wolf figurines as well as dream catchers. Rose was a country western fan and liked making her own jewelry. She lived for motorcycle rides and enjoyed seeing the fall colors.
Rose is survived by her four sisters, Virginia (Ed) Habersetzer, Marian (Richard) Kreif, Julie (Jerry) Zimdars, and Irma (special friend Jim) Schairer; her five brothers, Ivan Schairer, Robert (Jeanne) Schairer, Jake Schairer, John (Kathy) Schairer Jr., and Paul (Cheryl) Schairer; and 14 nieces and nephews, Mike (special friend Debbie) Habersetzer, Jeanne (Randy) Beisenstein, Cindy Menke, Don (special friend Doreen) Habersetzer, Michelle (Dean) Brandt, Laura (Tony) Bunkelman, Rita (Peter) Hupfer, Esther (special friend Patrick) Kreif, Amy Kreif, Barry (special friend Amanda) Zimdars, Sam Zimdars, Mark (special friend Julie) Schairer, Matt Schairer, and Eric Schairer. She is further survived by many great nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew, and many other close relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Iremina Schairer Sr.; an infant sister, Jean Schairer; her nephew, Bobby Schairer; and two sisters-in-law, Joanne and Deborah Schairer.
A funeral service in honor of Rose's life will be held on Sunday, December 30, at 6:00 pm, at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Father Rick Wendell of Holy Angels Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
