Rose B. Slaugenhoup, 87, of Kewaskum, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009, at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.
She was born on February 11, 1922, in West Bend the daughter of the late Theodore and Alvina (Techmann) Wornardt, and on February 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to Thomas Slaugenhoup in West Bend. Her husband preceded her in death on October 7, 2005.
Rose was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Survivors include her son, Mark (Jeanne) Slaugenhoup of Kewaskum; two grandchildren, Dean Slaugenhoup and Danielle Fountain; four great-grandchildren, Broderick and Sophia Slaugenhoup, Chloe and Chaely Fountain; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Wornardt of West Bend, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Rose was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Roy Wornardt.
Funeral services for Rose were held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
Relatives and friends called on Thursday at the church from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lucas Lutheran Church were appreciated.
