April 26, 1953 — February 8, 2013

Roy A. Garbisch, 59, of the town of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 8, 2013, at his home.

He was born on April 26, 1953, in Sheboygan, the son of Kenneth and Bernice (Klein) Garbisch, and on August 20, 1994, he was united in marriage to Tamala “Tammy” Seefeldt in Waupaca. Tammy preceded Roy in death on June 27, 2005.

Roy and Tammy were the former owners and operators of the Silver Platter Family Restaurant in Kewaskum. Roy was a member of the Fisherman’s Road Fishing Club and a former member of the Campbellsport Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin Roy and his friends built. Roy was an avid NASCAR fan and will fondly be remembered as “Mr. Fix It” as he could fix, build and improvise anything.

Roy and Annette dated when they were younger. Life took them in different directions and they found each other again after 35 years. Roy touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed by Annette, his family and by all who knew him.

Calvary and Brian (Beccy) Garbisch of Fond du Lac; his nieces and nephews, Tracy (Beau) Coulter of Colgate, Julie (Peyton) Covey of Milwaukee, Shiloh Garbisch of Texas, Amanda Tappa and Kenneth Garbisch both of Fond du Lac; his good friends, Itch, Sweet Roll, Coils, Jay, Darryl, Doug, Dorie and Dave, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, good buddies, friends and of course his little girl, Roxy.

In addition to his wife, Roy was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Garbisch and a niece, Kristen Garbisch.
