Russell D. Jaqua, passed at the age of 96 with his loving family by his side on February 7, 2025 at his home in West Bend. He was born on October 5, 1928, son of the late Frank and Etta (Berma) Jaqua.
Russell is survived by his children; Robin (Michael) Morphis, Kevin (Brenda) Jaqua, Lisa Nedella, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his sister Debbie (Richard) Prince, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is further survived by other friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Jodee (Traudt) in 2019.
He is also preceded in death by his one brother Ronald (Georgia) Jaqua and sister Delores (Chuck) Style.
Russell was born in Cudahy Wisconsin and grew up in Fairmount Minnesota. He played High School Tennis, Football and Track. After High School he went on to the Air Force and served in Korea in radiocommunication. After the Air Force, Russell went to DeVry University in Chicago where he graduated in Engineering. During his time in Chicago, he met his wife, Jodee. They ended up moving to Milwaukee, where Russell started his career in Broadcasting with WISN Channel 12 TV on July 16th, 1956. Russell started as a camera man filming live Brewer and Green Bay Packer Games. As time went on, he was inserting commercials on live tv. He retired from Channel 12 after 36 years.
Russell was also a member of the Tripoli Shrine, rode the small Harley AMF Scooters in the parades for many years for the Motor Corps Parade Division and was also a Master Mason which is the highest degree obtainable, which he earned while being a member at the Waukesha Masonic Lodge.

VISITATION – Will be held on held on Saturday 22, 2025 at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service (1315 W. Washington St.) at 10:00 – 11:00am.
MEMORIAL SERVICE – Will be held at 11:00 am with Chaplain Jim Mallmann officiating. Full Military Honors will be held, with the burial in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove in Spring.
