Ruth M. Parlow, nee Hartmann, 75, of Waubeka, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
She was born on March 14, 1931 in Waubeka to the late Raymond and Ida (nee Runke) Hartmann. She married Ervin Parlow on May 1, 1954 at St. Paul's Community Church in Waubeka.
Ruth was a long-time member of St. Paul's Community Church in Waubeka. She enjoyed the simple things in life like taking car rides in the summer, being in her back yard, and fishing. She also loved having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around and spending time with them.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ervin; four children, Ronald (fiancAC.e Heidi) Parlow of Plymouth, Gerry Parlow of Waubeka, Susan Tappa of Fredonia, and Bonnie (Ken) Gutbrod of Waubeka; eight grandchildren, Rachel Parlow, Ross Parlow, Robin Parlow, Hope (fiancAC. Jake) Tappa, Amber (Chris) Seiler, Samantha Tappa, Stevie Gutbrod and Ronnie Gutbrod; two great-grandchildren, Moya Seiler and McKenna Seiler; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Hartmann, Jr., a son-in-law, Michael Tappa, and her life-long friend, June Rathke.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum- Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, with Rev. William Dushek officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
