Ruth J. Tews, nee Meyer, 89, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Cedar Community Hospice in the town of West Bend.
She was born on February 16, 1916 in New Prague, MN to the late Frederick and Lydia (nee Koeppke) Meyer. She was united in marriage to Armin Tews on October 26, 1985 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. In 1991 the couple moved from Milwaukee to Cedar Ridge in West Bend. Armin passed away on March 10, 1995.
She is survived by a sister, Marie (Ralph) Hille of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, with Rev. David Meyer of Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee.
