September 9, 1960 — January 3, 2014

Sheryl L. Peters (nee Sramek), age 53, of West Bend, found peace and entered Eternal Life on Friday January 3, 2014 at her home.

She was born on September 9, 1960 in Orland Park IL to the late Edward and Darlene (nee Tomschin) Sramek. She later grew up in Random Lake area and attended high school there where their family owned the school mascot, a ram. She spent sometime during the summers on the road with her family while growing up.

Sheryl began working early in life. The Sramek family always had a business to run and Catering was an integral part of it while they were growing-up in that era. In 1984, Sheryl helped open up the Ponderosa in West Bend as a Shift Supervisor. In 1988, Eric was assigned to Ponderosa in West Bend and they both worked together as managers until 1994. Eric and Sheryl were happily married in July of 1993. In 1994, Sheryl helped open up the Ponderosa in Hartford.

Sheryl later found her dream job of CBRF care giver and enjoyed taking care of seniors, the disabled and other clients. This was something that Sheryl felt blessed to do until her eternal life. Sheryl's love of family was always her top priority, she loved being with her sisters, nieces, and nephews! Every weekend she would care for her mother- in -law Bette. Sheryl loved animals, especially her two beloved cats. She would feed the birds daily for the past 20 years.

Additional interests of Sheryl were vacationing to Mexico, cooking, motor-cycling, rock and roll, going to car shows, reading, gardening, and wave running. The last few years Sheryl found a love of camping where she could relax in an up-north atmosphere and be with fine friends. This sanctuary was near the Wisconsin Dells at "The Rock" where she visited every weekend during the summer with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Peters of West Bend; two sisters, Sandy (Calvin) Fischer of Ripon and Stacy (Tom) Linden of Aurora IL; mother-in-law, Bette Peters; brother-in-law, Chris(Deirdre) Peters; nine nieces and nephews, Abby, Elizabeth, Jason and Katie Fischer, Grace and Lance Linden and Sarah, Justin and Jenna Peters; and other family and friends.
