Sofia P. Kreil, nee Patelski, age 89, of Cascade, formerly of the Milwaukee area, died Sat. Sept. 3, 2005 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan.
She was born on March 31, 1916 in Milwaukee to the late Jacob and Mary (nee Bodanski) Patelski. She married Hugo Kreil on May 31, 1935 in Waukegan, IL.
Sofia was a loving wife and mother and was an excellent baker and cook. She was a very caring individual who always gave her all for everyone else.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Hugo; two sons, William (Blossom Lynn) Kreil of Brussels, and Curtis Kreil of Medford, OR; two grandchildren, Cynthia (Jeff) Norton of Sturgeon Bay, and William (Virginia) Kreil of Algoma; four great grandchildren, Jacob Norton, Kayla Norton, Hailey Kreil, and Talan Kreil; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thur. Sept. 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Jane Stewart, a family friend, will officiate and entombment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thur. from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
