Sophronia Volk

June 30, 1931 — February 12, 2005

Sophronia "Ronnie" Volk, (nee Spratz), age 73 of Kewaskum, passed away Saturday February 12, 2005 at her daughter's home in Germantown.

She was born on June 30, 1931 in Milwaukee to the late Gustave and Elizabeth (nee Eickhof) Spratz and was united in marriage to Frederick Volk on July 5, 1952 in Waukegan, IL. Together they made their home in Glendale and later Brown Deer. They moved to Kewaskum in 2002.

Ronnie had been employed at Marquette Electronics and Briggs & Stratton until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, camping, Antiquing, and cross-stitching.

She is survived by her husband Fred; two children, James (Marilyn) Volk of Newton, KS, and Pamela (Peter) Kandziora of Germantown; five grandchildren, Jason Volk, Melissa Volk, Bryce Volk, Rachel Volk, and Tyler Kandziora; a brother Garland (Geraldine) Spratz of Cudahy; two sisters-in-law Evelyn Miller of Racine, and Jennie Mae Hall of Fulton, TX; a brother-in-law Fred Damaske of Muskego; other relatives and friends; she was preceded in death by two sisters Elizabeth Damaske and Helga Spratz.

Memorial services for Ronnie will be held on Sunday, February 20th at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home. Chaplin Bob Lantz of Heartland Hospice will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Cremation will take place at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service. Memorials to Heartland Hospice are appreciated.
