Susan L. “Sioux” Page, 80, of West Bend, passed away on March 18, 2025, at the Waterford in West Bend.
Sue's journey began on June 1, 1944, in Milwaukee, as the cherished daughter of William and Jean (née Filbrich) Mardak. She found immense joy in children and her family. With a giving heart, she dedicated countless years to volunteering at the Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, serving as an usher and hospitality coordinator.
Sue had an enduring love for smooth jazz, frequenting events like Jazz on the Vine in Elkhart Lake and the Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival in West Bend. One of her most treasured memories was attending the Catalina Island Jazz Festival, a highlight among her travels. She also had the extraordinary experience of witnessing one of Elvis Presley's final concerts in Milwaukee, thanks to a ticket lovingly gifted by her father.
Her passions extended to her beloved cats and the art of baking, particularly her skill in crafting lemon meringue pies using her mother’s treasured family recipe. Professionally, she was an active member of the Professional Secretaries International Group, showcasing her dedication and expertise.
Sue delighted in visiting her parents in the sunny retreats of Thousand Palms, California, and Sun City, Arizona, creating cherished memories that reflected her vibrant and loving spirit.
Those Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Traci Northrop of West Bend and Mike (Lisa) Northrop of Eden; grandchildren, Kayla (Jon) Wicklund and Heather Awve; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kendrick, Owen, and Cole; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her siblings, Tommy Mardak and James Mardak.
