Susan Marie “Sue” (nee Schramm) Voigt, age 74, of West Bend passed away on July 6, 2024 at her home while under the loving care of her daughter, Michelle and Vitas Hospice Care.
Sue was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on August 3, 1949 to Gerald and Dottie (nee Plush) Schramm. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended Homestead High School in Thiensville-Mequon. She married Dennis Voigt on August 21, 1967.
Sue is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis; her daughter, Michelle Dittmann of West Bend; son, Steven (Doreen) Voigt of Manitowoc; grandchildren, Kory and Kayla Dittmann of West Bend, Kyle of Green Bay and Devin of Manitowoc; and seven great-grandchildren.
Sue is further survived by siblings, Irene Glodowski of Rosholt, Mark (Jackie) Schramm of Menomonee Falls, Evett Hartvig of Rosholt, and Carl (Leslie) Schramm of Waupaca; step-siblings, Brian (Susie) Pitsch of North Lake, Linda (Tom) Herrick of Erin, Deborah Schlafer of North Lake, and Sandy Pitsch of Waupun; step-mother, Lucy Krapfl of North Lake; sister-in-law, Kris (Tony) Kremer of Saukville; and brother-in-law, David Voigt of Fond du Lac; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sue is also survived by a very special extended family, Mark & April Peaslee and their children, Jeffrey, Roman, and Lillyana.
Sue was very successful in selling both Avon and Tupperware products, but was most proud of her time working for Universal Strap/dba WovinBrands, retiring after more than 30 years of service.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Schramm; half-brother, David Schramm; brothers-in-law, Don Voigt and Donald Hartvig; sister-in-law, Karen Voigt; and her nephew/godson, Andrew Hartvig.
VISITATION: Sue’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.
SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Sue will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will be at The Gardens of Stonebank at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family preferred.
