Suzanne “Sue” Artin (nee Dymak), age 85 years, of Jackson was called home to be with Jesus on July 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Sue was born on December 25, 1938 in Milwaukee to William and Mary Dymak (nee Zunac). She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Artin on May 9, 1959 in Milwaukee.
Sue graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee in 1957. She actively volunteered for many different organizations including Christian Schools, Meals On Wheels, and hospice agencies. Sue was a devoted Christian and loved to spread the Gospel. She taught at Peace Makers Christian Academy and was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. Sue was a dedicated homemaker, and she was especially talented when it came to interior design and decorating. She also enjoyed gardening and playing board games with her grandchildren
Those Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 65 years, Robert “Bob” Artin; three children, Dave (Karen) Artin, Carolyn Artin, and Darrin Artin; grandchildren, Angela, Chantal, Nicole, Will, Rob, Emily, and Phillip; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Logan, Nathan, Mason, Jayden, Elliot, Hailey, Hannah, Levi, Elsie, Josephine, Elliott, Luna, and Tillie Sue.
She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Joan Artin and Shirley Spartz; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, June (James) Germann, Donald (Donna) Artin, Wayne Artin, and William Spartz.
VISITATION: Sue’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Community Church of West Bend (2005 S Main Street – West Bend, WI 53095).
SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Sue will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Church with Pastor Adam Baker officiating.
The family would like to thank the nurses, social workers, therapists, and staff at Horizon Hospice for their care and compassion.
