Theodore A. Fellenz

April 18, 1922 — June 30, 2007

Theodore A. Fellenz, age 85, of West Bend, passed away Saturday June 30, 2007 at Kathy Hospice.

He was born on April 18, 1922 in Barton to the late Anton and Barbara (nee Hausmann) Fellenz, and was united in marriage to Phyllis Schwoerer on June 9, 1945 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish.

Ted worked at the West Bend Company for 41 years as material handler, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Society. He was also a member of the West Bend Moose Lodge #1398, and the West Bend Company 25 year club. When Ted was younger, he enjoyed camping with his family, and enjoyed working in his yard. He also enjoyed polka music, and following the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Ted loved his family and was proud to be a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ted was a gentle soul and never had a negative word for anyone.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; three children, Ted (Mary) Fellenz of Kohlsville, LouAnn (Doug) Kocher of Kewaskum, and David (Beth) Fellenz of West Bend; four grandchildren; Nathan Fellenz, Jason (Aimee) Fellenz, Trischa (FiancAC. Randy Richmond) Kocher, and Michael Kocher; two great-grandchildren, Denali & Diesel Fellenz; a brother, Bob (Audrey) Fellenz of West Bend; five sisters-in-law, Ursula (LeRoy) Willkomm of Pewaukee, Mag Joyce of Lake Geneva, Agnes Huebner of Racine, MaryAnn (Donald) Benzine of Deforest, and Linny Slade of Pardeeville; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, George, Gregor, and Anton; two sisters-in-law, Rose Peterson and Anita Fox; five brothers-in-law, Tony Schwoerer, Clem Schwoerer, Arthur Schwoerer, Wilbert Schwoerer, and Lawrence Schwoerer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ted will be held on Tuesday July 3rd at 7:00pm at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave.), West Bend. Rev. Gerald Brittain will be the celebrant. Visitation will be at the church only on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of Mass. Burial in Holy Angels Cemetery will be on Thursday July 5th at 9:30 am. Memorials to Holy Angels Church or the Kathy Hospice are appreciated. Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to friends and relatives, as well as the staff and volunteers at Kathy Hospice, and to Dr. Klausmeier who was always available for Ted and his family. Also to the Holy Angels clergy and staff who made frequent visits.
