Theodore "Ted" Gressen, age 91, was called to rest on Thursday, November 13, 2014 after having faithfully served God, his family and his country.
He was born on March 11, 1923 in Milwaukee to the late Theodore and Rose (nee Koenig) Gressen. He was united in marriage to Martha Weinberger on October 30, 1948 at St. Leo's Church in Milwaukee. Ted served in the United States 15th Air Force during WWII. He was employed at Taylor Electric Armstrong Flooring Division for 23 years, retiring in 1993.
Ted was the loving husband of Martha, special dad of Bonnie (Charles) Frank and Robert (Debra) Gressen, devoted grandpa of Heather (Erik Goellner) Frank and Nathan Frank. He is further survived by a sister, Ruth Krause, a sister-in-law, Stefania Piekarski, other dear relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Malecki, and four brothers-in-law, Edward (Susan) Weinberger, Oliver Krause, William Malecki, and Jim Piekarski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery in the town of Polk.
