Theresa F. Wiita, (nee Chiapuzio) 90, of Newburg, passed away Thursday April 30, 2009, joining her late husband, Edwin, and daughter, Yvonne.
She was born on January 26, 1919 in Bessemer, MI to the late Anton and Caroline (nee Tremel) Chiapuzio. She married Edwin Wiita on May 6, 1929 in Bessemer, MI and he passed away in 2001.
She is survived by four children, John (Margery) Wiite of Fredonia, Carol (Tom) Bielke of Oconomowoc, Paula Adams of Newburg, and Judy (Jacob) Wiita of Phelps; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sun., May 3 at 4:00 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Newburg. The family will greet visitors at the church on Sun. from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Theresa's cremated remains will be inurned at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
