Thomas J. Herman, Jr. age 59, of Glenbeulah, formerly of Adell, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2006 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
He was born on August 31, 1946 in Hartford, the son of the late Thomas and Mildred (Gass) Herman, and on August 22, 1969, he was united in marriage to Carol Steinert in Las Vegas.
Tom served his country in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Plymouth Foam in Plymouth, was a member of the NRA and helped with the Random Lake High School trap team. Tom was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing and shooting sports.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carol; three children, Brad Herman of Glenbeulah, Renee (Tony) Jones of Cascade and Regina (Jesse) Jones of Kewaskum; six grandchildren, Ashley, Tori, Lexi, Jesse, Jr., Cheyanne and Dria Jones; two brothers, Glenn Herman of West Bend and Gary (Lynn) Herman of Burnett; four sisters, Lori (Rick) Maske of Campbellsport, Jane (Lloyd) Merkel of Random Lake, Patty (Eric) Olmsted of Rio and Ellen (Jack) Weiland of West Bend, other relatives and many friends.
Tom’s funeral service was held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and military rites followed the service. Cremation has taken place.
Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
