Thomas P. “Tom” Jaeger, 69, of Kewaskum, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006, at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
He was born on July 10, 1937, in Campbellsport, the son of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Schoepke) Jaeger, and on November 27, 1957, he was united in marriage to Janet Johnson at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport.
Tom was a 1956 graduate of Campbellsport High School and was a retiree of the Gehl Company in West Bend. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, the Campbellsport Sportsman’s Club, and Tom enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, trap shooting and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; three children, Jeff Jaeger of Kewaskum, Allan (Charlene) Jaeger of Franksville and Cheryl Jaeger of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Jaeger and Jack (Diane) Jaeger both of Campbellsport; three grandchildren, Samantha, Kyle and Mitch Jaeger; his mother-in-law, Agnes Johnson of Campbellsport; a brother-in-law, Pat (Sue) Johnson of Campbellsport; a sister-in-law, Karen (Bill) Grahl of Kewaskum, other relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Tom Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Tom was held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Tuesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of one’s choice are preferred.
