Timothy J. “Tim” McKee, 25, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008, from injuries received in a car accident.


He was born on July 15, 1983, in West Bend, the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Hoerig) McKee, and on October 11, 2008, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Detloff at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels.


Tim was a 2002 graduate of Kewaskum High School and was employed by Hartmann Sand and Gravel in Fredonia. He was a member of the Fillmore Fire Department and St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels. Tim will fondly be remembered for his passion for farming, tractor pulls, Chevy trucks and spending time with family and friends.


Tim was a loving husband who will be deeply missed by his wife, Jenni; his parents, Kenneth and Shirley McKee of the town of Farmington; his sister, Melissa McKee (special friend, Tom Limbach) of the town of Farmington; his parents-in-law, Terry and Beth Detloff of West Bend; his brother-in-law, Matthew Detloff (special friend, Ashley Burmeister) of West Bend; his paternal grandmother, Julia McKee of Kewaskum; his maternal grandfather, Harvey Hoerig of Kewaskum; his grandparents-in-law, Carl and Sharron Johnson of Gwinn, Michigan and Mary and Leon Detloff of Alpena, Michigan; Tim and Jenni’s new puppy, Mya, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.


Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Merlin McKee; his maternal grandmother, Mary Hoerig; his uncle, Dennis Hoerig and his great-grandmother-in-law, Clara Johnson.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Tim was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 8881 Forest View Road, Kewaskum (St. Michaels). Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial followed in St. John of God Catholic Cemetery in the town of Farmington.


Relatives and friends called at the church on Monday after 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
