Timothy "Tim" Tamayo, 37, of Campbellsport, formerly of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.
He was born on July 13, 1977 to Manuel "Manny" and Patricia (nee Schmitt) Tamayo in Mountain Home, ID. Tim graduated from West Bend East High School in 1995. He was united in marriage to Stephanie Strnad on September 24, 2011 in Lomira.
Tim was employed at Kerry Industries in Jackson. He enjoyed attending Country USA, ATV riding, baseball, and Monopoly. He also enjoyed making his special apple pie drink.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Molly and Sadie; his parents, Manny Tamayo and Patricia Tamayo; a sister, Tanya (Angel) Tamayo-Funez; a brother, Anthony Tamayo; his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Rosemary Schmitt; his parents-in-law, Denis and Gloria Strnad; two brothers-in-law, Curtis Strnad, and Eric (Kelly) Strnad, along with their children, Sommer & William; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Maria Tamayo.
A funeral service in remembrance of Tim will be held on Tuesday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Deacon Mark Jansen will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
