Timothy M. Taylor

Timothy M. "Tim" Taylor, of the town of Scott, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.


He was born on September 19, 1948, in Napoleon, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph and Jean (Hannigan) Taylor, and on October 13, 1978, he was united in marriage to Patricia Topik in Walbridge, Ohio.


Prior to retirement, Tim was employed by Victor Technologies in St. Louis, Missouri.  Tim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, riding his motorcycle and in his younger years racing motorcycles. Tim will fondly be remember for his competitive spirit, competing in archery and golf tournaments and that he loved to play poker. He was an adept mechanic building his own chopper and additionally was skilled in welding and woodworking. Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.


Those Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia; three children, Michael (Micki Carlson) Taylor of San Diego, California, Jeff (Leigh Jacobson) Taylor of Amherst and Sara Taylor of Fond du Lac; a sister, Kay (Ralph) Lawerance of Elmhurst, Illinois, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.


In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a son, Terry, on December 2, 2005 and a brother, Bill Taylor.


A memorial gathering for Tim was held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Hon-E-Kor Country Club in Kewaskum. The Taylor family greeted relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and a prayer service was held at 1:00 p.m. at Hon-E-Kor.


The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Tim's arrangements.
