Tracey A. Leffin-Hedrick

Tracey Ann Leffin-Hedrick, 62, of Fredonia passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 with her loving family at her side.

Tracey was born in Sheboygan on April 4, 1960, the daughter of the late Frederick and Margene (nee Pantel) Leffin. Tracey graduated from Grafton High School before going on to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She was working on her doctoral degree when she left to begin her new life as a mother. She was united into marriage with a shy guy named Robert Hedrick on August 1, 1992 at First Immanuel Church in Cedarburg.

Tracey loved ice skating, spending time at Lake Michigan with her “Ladies of the Lake,” puzzles and anything that challenged her brain – particularly Words with Friends.

Those Tracey leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert; her children, Ben and Alex Hedrick; her step-son, Josh (Amanda) Hedrick; two step-grandchildren, Jase and Jordy Hedrick; a sister, Lori (Mike) Jasek; a brother, Scott (Bonnie) Leffin; three nephews, Jason (Samantha) Jasek, Jonathan Jasek, Sonny (Callie) Leffin; two nieces, Jennifer (CJ) Pease, and Heather (Dustin) Dutter; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Tracey is preceded in death by her brother, Mike.

VISITATION: The family will greet friends and family on Friday, January 27 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 824 Fredonia Ave, in Fredonia from 9 a.m. until noon.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral service for Tracey will be held on Friday, January 27 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at noon. Reverend Marshall Frisque will officiate and burial will follow at Zur Ruhe Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Sharon Richardson Hospice.
