Tracy Lynn Merkel, (nee Kesselring), age 39, of West Bend, was granted her eternal rest on Monday, March 12, 2007 unexpectedly.
Tracy was born on October 18, 1967, in West Bend, to Daniel and Monica (nee Russell) Kesselring. She attended Germantown High School and was in the class of 1987. Following high school Tracy became a graphic designer. Tracy was united in marriage to Brian Merkel on June 22, 1990 in Washington County.
Tracy is survived by her loving husband, Brian of West Bend; her two cherished daughters, Mikaela and Brianna both of West Bend; her mother, Monica (Gary) Malcolm of Campbellsport; her brother Anthony (Trish) Dybdal of Richfield; and her sister, Katina Dybdal of Jackson. She is further survived by Mark, Linda, and Becky Merkel; and Jenny, TJ, and Amanda Kesselring.
She was preceded in death by Jack and Laverne Russell, "Grandpa David," Dennis Kesselring, "Uncle Wayne," "Cleo," and Roland and Lana Merkel.
A funeral service in honor of Tracy will be held on Sunday, March 18, at 4:00 pm at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend. Rev. Robert Hien will officiate. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday at the church from 1:00 pm until 3:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
