Troy M. Bowes, 44, of Jackson, found peace on Monday, November 18, 2013.
He was born on December 18, 1968 in Milwaukee to Ken and Karen (nee Schultz) Bowes. Troy attended West Bend East High School where he was a member of the swim team, graduating in 1987.
Troy was an avid sports fan, especially the Packers. He loved fishing with his Grandpa and he also enjoyed golfing. Troy was a caring person who was always concerned about others' problems more than his own.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Bowes; his father, Ken Bowes; two sisters, Robin Bowes and Nikki Bowes; a brother, Tate (Melinda) Bowes; two nieces, Lauren Bowes and Alivia Sawyer; two nephews, Ryan Bowes and Tyler Bowes; an uncle, Keith (KC) Schultz; three cousins, Kim, Kelly, and Shawn; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Hilkka Schultz and Gene and Billie Bowes.
A memorial service in remembrance of Troy will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend with Rev. Jeremy Deaner of Fifth Ave. United Methodist Church, West Bend, officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Epilepsy Foundation or Milwaukee Public Television would be appreciated.
