Valera R. McDonald, 90, of Kewaskum, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Terrace Place in Sheboygan.
She was born on March 10, 1924, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Charles and Johanna (Heyen) Kraus, and on March 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to William "Mac" McDonald in Milwaukee. Mac preceded Valera in death on April 29, 2013.
Valera and Mac were the owners of the Rustic Inn in Kewaskum. She will fondly be remembered as one who enjoyed playing bridge with friends.
Those Valera leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, William (Diane) McDonald of the town of Sheboygan; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Valera was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen and a brother, Henry (Charlotte) Kraus.
Valera’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Entombment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
