Vanessa L. Speener, age 35, of Glendale, formerly of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on March 12, 1971 in Menomonee Falls to Jerome and Arlyss (nee Haugen) Speener.
Vanessa graduated from West Bend East High School in the class of 1989, and for the past eight years has been employed as a bookkeeper for the Adelman Travel Agency.
She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend, and currently was a member of Fox Point Lutheran Church.
Vanessa is survived by her parents, Jerome and Arlyss Speener of West Bend; two sisters, Michelle (David) Kornitz of Glendale and Charlotte Speener of West Bend; two brothers, Fred Speener of West Bend and Alex Speener of Abilene, TX; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Haugen of Hartford; paternal grandmother, Jennette Speener of Kaukauna; niece and nephew, Morgan & Avery Kornitz; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service to remember Vanessa's life will be held on Monday, April 17th at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, West Bend. Rev. David Schoob will officiate. Friends may visit with the family after the service.
