Victoria “Vic” Rivera (nee Widucki), 63, of Random Lake, found peace on Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on February 21, 1954 to the late Norman and Joan (nee Ryan) Widucki in Cook County, IL. She attended Washington high School in Milwaukee, WI. On October 24, 1970 she was united in marriage to Marcelino Rivera Jr. at St. Mary’s Church in Milwaukee, WI. Victoria worked as a hair dresser, she worked at a dry cleaner, and did office work until she quit in order to stay home to take care of her father-in-law. She loved crafting and being a member of the Red hatters. Victoria was always active and loved keeping busy. She enjoyed camping and vacationing to Wisconsin Dells with her grandchildren. Spending time with her family was very important to her. She had many lifelong friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those who Victoria leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Marcelino Rivera Jr.; her two children, Ricardo (Melissa) Rivera and Jodi Rivera; nine grandchildren Izaiah LaPrade, Hunter LaPrade, Gabriella Rivera, Taylor Rivera, Masyn Rivera, Kayla Borgen, Shyanna Borgen, Jadyn Borgen, and Marc Borgen; three brothers, Norman J. Widucki, Steven Widucki, and Daniel Widucki; a niece, Danielle Rivera; a nephew, Anthony Rivera; an Aunt, Jan Ryan-Johnson; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Joan Widucki, her mother and father in law, Marcelino R. Olivo and Felicita Acosta Perez, and also by her newborn granddaughter, Lennon Grace Trinity Rivera.
A funeral service in remembrance of Victoria will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum. Burial to follow the service at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Silver Creek.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
