Violet L. Wagner (nee Neumann), age 96, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Violet was born on June 29, 1915 in the town of Fredonia to the late Charles and Angela (nee Gerner) Neumann. On September 11, 1937 Violet was united in marriage to Aron Wagner.
Violet is survived by her three children, Robert (Yvonne) Wagner of Norwalk, OH, Leila (Edward) Behrens of Grafton, and June (Thomas) Heise of Peoria, AZ; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Lucille Rollinger of Belgium; her brother, Donald (Lois) Neumann of Campbellsport; and many other close relatives and dear friends.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Aron; her daughter-in-law, Joyce Wagner; a great-grandson; a sister; and three brothers.
A memorial service in honor of Violet will be held on Friday, April 27th at 3:30 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St. West Bend). Rev. Rich Vincent will officiate and burial will be in Waubeka Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or to the Aurora VNA Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
