Virginia B. Edgar, 70, of Boltonville, died on Monday, November 6, 2006, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.


She was born on September 20, 1936, in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Marvin and Flossie (Oppermann) Garbisch, and on June 1, 1957, she was united in marriage to Ronald Edgar at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. Her husband preceded her in death on September 23, 1999.


Virginia was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a choir member, and a member of the Women’s Evening Guild. She was employed in the West Bend area prior to raising her children. When her children were grown, she returned to the workforce again in the West Bend area.


Survivors include four children, Randall Edgar of Boltonville, Steven (Terry) Edgar of Scottsdale, Arizona, Tamala (Richard) Noll of Deerfield, and Heidi (Charles) Hamilton of Kenmore, Washington; five grandchildren, Aleah and Andrea Noll, David and Mark Hamilton, and Rachel Edgar; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Garbisch of the town of Scott and Julienne Endlich of West Bend, other relatives and friends.


In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Garbisch.


Funeral services for Virginia were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2006, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W8497 Brazelton Drive, Random Lake (town of Scott). Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.


Relatives and friends called on Saturday at the church from noon until the time of services.
