Virginia A. Mueller

April 29, 1923 — April 14, 2011

Virginia A. Mueller, 87, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.


She was born on April 29, 1923, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Herman and Hattie (Grube) Braubach, and on February 6, 1949, she was united in marriage to Elmer R. Mueller in Milwaukee. Elmer preceded Virginia in death on August 21, 2002.


Virginia was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane and Milwaukee Lutheran High School Ladies Guild.


Those Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Michael (Leah) Mueller of New Fane, Carol (Dennis) Tiernan of Louden, Tennessee and
Jeffrey (Barbara) Mueller of Parker, Colorado; a brother, Allen (Judy) Johnson of Windham, New Hampshire, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Virginia were held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church, N665 Highway S, Kewaskum (in New Fane). Rev. Mark Eckert officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Milwaukee.


Relatives and friends called on Tuesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.


Memorials to St. John Lutheran Church or Milwaukee Lutheran High School Ladies Guild are appreciated.


The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Virginia’s arrangements.
