Vivian M. Stommel, 71, of Kewaskum, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
Vivian was born on February 12, 1944, the daughter of the late James and Marcella (Feucht) Clark. She was united in marriage to Arnold “Arnie” Stommel on September 16, 1967, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy. Arnie preceded Vivian in death on November 3, 2004.
Vivian was employed by the West Bend Company for 40 years. After her retirement, Vivian volunteered at the St. Matthews Catholic Parish Center in Campbellsport where she was a birthday angel. Vivian was very devoted to her daughter, Annie
Those Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory include her brother, David (Patricia) Clark of LeRoy; a special friend, Mary Ann (David) Walters of Campbellsport; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette “Annie” Stommel and her parents-in-law, Claude and Frieda Stommel.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Vivian and Annie will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church (N1271 Minnie Lane/Highway 67) in Ashford. Father John Radetski will officiate and cremation will follow the traditional service.
Vivian and Annie’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
